Soup Kitchen

Serving up food and love.

SOUP KITCHEN HOURS: Monday and Thursday 3:30pm to 4:30pm.

Located at 11 Hanes St.

Our host churches are not able to welcome us back at this time for our twice weekly sit-down meals. However, we have adapted to offer take-out meals to anyone in need. Please come by our Community Kitchen at 11 Hanes St. during the hours listed above and we will happily provide you with a delicious meal to take home.

Our meals consist of an entrée, and dessert. We ask that you be mindful of those around you while you wait for your meal, and practice physical distancing at this time, out of courtesy to other guests. For those who require their meal to be heated while at The Table, please let our volunteers know and we will gladly do so. Our meals are either homemade in our Community Kitchen, or sponsored by local restaurants. We are grateful for our partnership with our Food Rescue donors, who generously provide some of the ingredients used to make our meals. Our Table Volunteers make each meal with love and hope that you feel their kindness, compassion, and care with each bite!

The following is information FOR WHEN WE RE-OPEN AT OUR HOST CHURCHES:

Twice weekly our volunteers provide delicious dinners which consist of an appetizer, soup, bread, salad, entreé, beverages, and dessert. Everyone is welcome to attend and enjoy a nutritious meal in the company of friends. Musical entertainment is provided regularly. Members of our Love Connection Team are generally available to provide prayer, a listening ear, love, and encouragement for those who request it. All of our leftovers are sent home with guests.

Our meals are sponsored by local restaurants, stores, churches, schools, individuals, or families who provide all or parts of our meals. Menu items which are not sponsored are purchased locally.

Approximately 80 wonderful people volunteer regularly with our Soup Kitchen, serving once every four weeks in one of our “Soup Groups.”
